Journal App
Intro
Heyday was an automatic journal mobile app created by Hey, Inc. The startup tasked me with the design brief of creating "an artifact of your life" as a test. Project wasn’t a long time ( I had 2 days), but it was a good time. Didn’t get the job, but here is the result of what I worked on.

2) Filter Overlay - When the user taps on the filter icon, an overlay comes up. an filter all their memories by date, location, or friends part of that memory.
3) Memory Card - Each Memory shows a memory photo, title, date, location, and friends involved. Tapping on the Memory Card takes the user to the memory detail page.
4) Timeline - The bottom of the page is the timeline. The vertical lines represent memories. The height of the vertical line is dependant on how many images are contained within the memory and how many friends are involved. The horizontal lines underneath the vertical lines represent months. A user can tap and hold down on the timeline to scrub through memories quickly

Visual Moodboard
A visual moodboard is a tool used to create design inspiration and to get a baseline for direction. The visual design strategy for this project was to create something clean and typographic, inspired by Swiss Grid Systems. The purpose of this was to let the content really shine with a clean aesthetic to support that.
Visual Design
Based on the moodboard, visual design was created for the Memory View and Timeline View.
