Intro
Palm was once at the forefront of handheld computing technology, seen in their PDA's and the introduction of the first smartphone, the Treo. I had their opportunity to work on the Palm Pre and it's mobile platform, WebOS. WebOS was designed to retain Palm's legacy while returning them to their former relevancy. In short, it's the same old tunes on a brand new stereo.

I was the visual design lead for Palm’s App Catalog, which reached 1 million app downloads within 3 weeks of launch. No
The technical limitations of this project made visual design a challenge, where literally every pixel counts. The Palm Pre sports a low density screen (186ppi), a small screen (3.1in), and a low resolution (320x480). To put in perspective, an Iphone 6 has a pixel density of 326ppi, a 4.7in screen, and a 1344x750 resolution.
